ABOUT GEISLER LAB

At Geisler Lab, we are passionate about exploring the intricate mechanisms of plant hormone transporters. Our expertise lies in the characterization of novel transport proteins that drive the polar, cell-to-cell movement of the plant signaling compound, auxin. Our research aims to provide insight into the individual roles of these transport proteins and their contribution to plant growth and development.

OUR MISSION

Advancing Plant Hormone Transporter Research

At Geisler Lab, our mission is to advance the field of plant hormone transporter research. We are committed to exploring the mechanisms of transport proteins that drive the movement of auxin, a vital plant signaling compound. Our team is dedicated to developing innovative methods and technologies to uncover the mysteries of auxin transport.

Our Journey So Far

2010

GEISLER LAB FOUNDED

Geisler Lab was founded with the vision of unraveling the mysteries of plant hormone transporters. Our team began conducting research to better understand the mechanisms of auxin transport and its impact on plant growth.

2012

FIRST PAPER PUBLISHED

Our team published the first paper on the characterization of a novel auxin transporter, providing key insights into its function and regulation. This paper marked the beginning of our journey to advance the field of plant hormone transporter research.
